Northern Lights Autoflower has earned its “easy mode” reputation for a reason — it’s resistant to mold and pests, tolerates minor grower mistakes, and finishes quickly. Because of its short, bushy structure, it thrives in small tents, closets, and grow cabinets where taller sativas struggle. Give it 18–20 hours of light daily and standard indica-leaning nutrients at moderate strength; this strain doesn’t need aggressive feeding to produce dense, resinous colas. Its short internode spacing means training is rarely necessary, though light defoliation in week 3–4 can improve light penetration to lower bud sites. Watch humidity closely in the final two weeks of flower — the dense bud structure that makes Northern Lights so potent also makes it more prone to bud rot if airflow is poor. Expect full ripening by week 8–10, with trichomes turning milky-to-amber as the finish line approaches.

Grew 2 plants and they are great . I’m days from cutting and they look amazing. Grew very fast and flowered nicely. They grew short witch I kinda forced them to. Germination was faster then the seeds from another company I also planted. Started inside then grew outside now finishing inside. Would definitely try more from sun west. Great package they came in as well.

Got a 3 pack freebie and turned out better than all my amnesia haze. It was grown outside and had a better structure post trim with better appeal. Smells amazing too. Indica dominant strains are better imo in auto form because sometimes the ruderalis really showcases and you have a super leafy end product. Genetics are key.

This plant had a slower start but ended up with a good performance. She responded well to my LST so was able to have about a dozen flower sites. Not bad for such a small space. Smells great fruity and piney. Buds are nice and frosty. It certainly is a head high, a bit euphoric. This is an excellent strain for new growers.

Has a nice subtle taste of citrus and sweetness. The scent of the dried buds is not overpowering from the jars but smell great if you get up close and personal with them. Great strain, very resilient with great weed at the end, even if you bugger up the grow! Can’t wait for the next harvest!
