How to Use Aspirin in Making Feminized Seeds?

Knowing how to feminize seeds with aspirin is one of those low-cost at-home methods of creating your own feminized seeds. There are more popular ways of doing so but this can be an option for you in case you believe it is easier and more effective. Of course, you need to use the best method possible because of how feminized seeds are the best to use at a time when marijuana is at a shortage

But before that, it is imperative that we first know what feminized cannabis seeds are and what are the other methods of creating them.

Feminized seeds

Feminized marijuana seeds are cannabis seeds that only grow up to become female marijuana plants. So how important is that? Well, you have to first understand the different roles of the two marijuana sexes: male and female.

Based on Wikihow, Male marijuana plants are like most other male organisms. That means that they are the ones that impregnate female marijuana plants so that they can produce seeds. They do that by developing pollen sacs that eventually burst open to release pollen that would impregnate nearby female marijuana plants.

Meanwhile, the female cannabis plants do not have pollen sacs. What they have are flowers or buds that will produce seeds if they get pollinated. However, if they are not pollinated, these buds will mature and are harvested for the one thing that people love about marijuana—their THC. Only the buds contain an abundance of THC and other chemical compounds. And only the females produce buds.

In that sense, males are generally useless plants if you want to make sure that you only have bud-producing females. But the problem lies in the fact that regular cannabis seeds will end up as either male or female without any way for you to tell until they have grown to a certain size. So that means that you are essentially playing a game of Russian Roulette when you are planting regular marijuana seeds because you do not know what you will be getting.

To prevent males from popping out of the seeds you sowed, it is better for you to use feminized seeds instead. That is because feminized marijuana seeds will always produce female plants. In that case, you no longer have to waste a lot of time growing your plants only to see that they ended up as males.

The main methods of producing feminized seeds

  • Colloidal silver

Using the colloidal silver method involves relying on artificial means. In this method, you will be using a colloidal silver solution, which is a water-based solution that is mixed with tiny silver particles. It is available in a lot of pharmacies and also in online stores.

What you need to do here is to use the colloidal silver solution on a regular basis for about 10 to 14 days on a mature female cannabis plant. By doing so, you will be preventing the hormone that is responsible for developing the female plants’ buds and flowers. Instead, what the plant will be developing pollen sacs instead.

When the pollen sacs have reached their maturity, collect them and dry them up for a few days before collecting the pollen inside. After doing so, you can introduce the pollen to other female marijuana plants. The seeds developed using this method will end up as feminized seeds.

  • Rodelization

The Rodelization method is somehow similar to the colloidal silver method. However, you will be relying on a more natural way of creating feminized seeds using this method because you no longer need to rely on a chemical solution to create the seeds.

What you need to do here is to wait for one of your female marijuana seeds to turn into hermaphrodites. Hermaphroditism happens when you leave your female plants too long during their flowering stage. When you do, you will be forcing them to take matters into their own hands by actually developing their own pollen sacs as a last-ditch effort to try to become pregnant. Those are what we call hermaphrodites.

Once the hermaphrodites emerge, you can collect their pollen sacs and introduce the pollen to your female plants. The seeds that will emerge as a result of this pollination will be feminized seeds.

Using aspirin

Research from https://online-weed.net/ the another way of making feminized seeds is by using aspirin and making a solution out of this headache tablet to turn some of your female plants into hermaphrodites. The first thing you need to do is to get one and a half tablet of aspirin and then dissolve it into about two gallons of water. Use the uncoated version of aspirin to get the best results. You can also use a mild liquid soap and mix it with the solution so that the aspirin sticks to the plants better.

After that, try to spray the aspirin solution onto your plants regularly or even pour it onto them to stress them out. The stress will somewhat damage their genetics and will force the female plants to turn into hermaphrodites to try to stay away from extinction. As such, they will develop male organs called pollens. You can use the pollens collected through this method to create seeds that will turn out to be feminized.

However, there is no certainty that this method will work as effectively as the colloidal silver method because there still is not enough evidence that suggests that it is a good way to produce feminized seeds. In that sense, it might still be better if you use the colloidal silver method or the Rodelization method to create your own feminized marijuana seeds.
