Planting Auto Marijuana Seeds Indoors In Soil – How To Do It Easily?

Digging With Auto Marijuana Seeds

In the recent years, interest in auto marijuana seeds has been increasing. And will continue to grow as more potent and powerful autoflower plants reach the seed market.

Autoflowering strains are the result of decades of planned cultivation, not the outcome of some modern hereditary alteration. Regular Indica and Sativa strains are crossbred with ruderalis lineages. According to Wikipedia, Ruderalis is a family of cannabis located in some of the cooler parts of the world.

One of the reasons consumer purchases this plant is its fast growing cycle that supply the growers with an enormous harvest.

Unlike the regular cannabis seeds, autoflowering doesn’t require multiple grow rooms because it does not need a change in the light cycle. It also remains smaller, which causes it more adaptable in all kinds of environments. Furthermore, it is usually denser, which is particularly interesting for rookie growers.

If you are considering to grow autoflowering indoors, here’s a step-by-step procedure to achieve a healthy and bountiful harvest:

Autoflowering seeds breed, fine, naturally when grown outside. Indoor growing is likewise professional, but merely a fraction.

Step 1. Find a suitable area for your indoor greenhouse.

Take note of the space you need to have. Remember the ff:

A sufficient room to maneuver. You still have to visit and manage your plant
Your plants will grow eventually. So think in advance how you’re going to fit your full-grown plant, and yourself without affecting the amount of light.
Circulation of air. Your plants need oxygen for them to grow healthy.
Manageable grow space temperature. You have to make sure that the temperature is between 30 – 20 C.

To monitor the temperature:

Have a wall thermometer install in your room to record timely and accurately the temperature.

Step 2. Indoor Grow Lights

When growing indoors, the most important steps you will have to make is selecting the best grow lights for your needs. Than most house plants, Cannabis needs more light. There are types of cannabis grow lights, and knowing which one is best for you can be tricky.

Fluorescent Light Bulb (CFL)

They’re cheap, small, and easy to find, making them perfect for absolute beginners, and can be kept close to plants without burning them.

Ideal for small grow space. And if you want to keep your plants short, better to use CFL

T5 / T8

Considerably more powerful than CFLs but with little intensity, they must be kept really close to the canopy to be effective.

Light Emitting Diode (LED) light

LEDs produce a more favorable spectrum. It generates less heat and uses less power than HPS lights.

Step 3. Choosing the Growing Medium

Soil

Soil is the ultimate grow medium that most growers are well-acquainted with. Organic fertilizer, earthworm casting, and micronutrients are some of the ingredients your soil must have. Potting soil or container mix will help in holding the moisture.

But if you are a beginner grower, organic pre-fertilized soil is recommended. For this type of soil may not need any additional nutrients during the entire growth phase.

Step 4. Choosing and Using Nutrients Wisely

Nutrients

A nutrient helps the plants during their photosynthesis process and metabolizes their food. It is also necessary for having healthy and bountiful crops.

Autoflower plants are always hungry for Calcium and Magnesium, so you need to have these 2 vital nutrients.

It is recommended that you use half of the prescribed dosage in your plants, especially for starters. Then check for any signs of side effect such as discoloration on the leaves. Avoid using synthetic nutrient as it contains salt that may harm the plants.

Water

Water your plants once every two days during vegging. But if your water is contaminated, it is better to use purified water.

Carbon Filter

Having a filter in your room to get rid of the smell of growing marijuana.

How is this achieved?

Load the containers with soil first and then water them; once the plant touches the top of the loam, you should not moisten it again. The safest thing to do is to sprinkle first, and then delay to water it again until the seedling matures a bit. About 1/2 a cm to 1cm embed the seed below the soil, create a small hole using a toothpick, and set the seed inside. Overlay it with a little soil. Don’t over compress it and place it in its room. Wait until the plant starts to sprout above the loam. Make sure that the plant doesn’t start to grow in that container, the best time you should give the plant is approximately 6 days.

Then you are required to transpose your autoflowering plants to their stable place. Autoflowering strains that acquire two months favor pots that are around 7L, whereas those that obtain three months many prefer containers that are no larger than 11L.

Pack the vessels with soil, fine and compressed so that the water doesn’t run thoroughly at the base. The plants need sufficient oxygen and water to breathe and develop so avoid over compressing.

Once those vessels are full, create a hole to attach your small plant in. Make it deep, just 5cm long from the soil to where the first leaves are. Then, water the sides of the vessel for the soil to have correctly humid. Once buried it, sprinkle the plant with a mixture of low concentration of fertilizer. You need to identify the absorption capacity of your soil.

Before you recognize it, your plant should be starting to flower.

That’s all you need to know to plant your auto indoors. Isn’t it quite easy? You merely need an ample of your time and effort to have healthy and robust products.
