Phytochrome (Pr)

Phytochrome (Pr) is the pigment seen in the plants that let them detect the light. This is an essential factor for the survival of the plants. Likewise, phytochrome is used in regulating the flowering process and setting the circadian rhythm of the plants. This pigment is blue-green that is so sensitive and reactive to lighting.

Sample 1

“The phytochrome might be closely connected to the far-red and red lights, similar to those lights that we use for indoor growing.”

Sample 2

“Indoor cannabis growers use phytochrome to control and regulate the strength level of the germinating seeds, including excessive blooming and bud production.”
