Meaning
Endocannabinoids refers to the cannabinoid receptors of the human body that form the endocannabinoid system. In animals and humans, the endocannabinoid system is the cluster of endogenous cannabinoid receptors located across the body. Although they tend to be heavily concerted in some areas, for mammals, the endocannabinoids can be found in their brains or across the peripheral and central nervous systems.
